I'm Fine is a hazy and emotional exploration of the statement "I'm Fine". This single from Micki's second EP titled Shattered Glass draws it's listeners into a precious and almost innocent place of mental protection. As the 5th track in the 'mental health' journey of Shattered Glass, we are fully immersed in the mind.
In creating this imaginative state of being fine (aka denial), Micki commissioned percussionist Louis Pino to feature various instruments such as glock, triangle, vibes, finger cymbal, and whindchimes.
Through blending real live instrumetns with synthesized sounds Micki was able to create the hazy vibe that drips of emotion. A nylon string guitar, synthesized choir, and various track doublings are just a few more of the unique tools Micki used to create this dreamy piece of art.
